i've got several new branch creations in the shop. can you say moss, succulents, air plants, and fox?! these were fun to put together, and make great centerpieces and tablescape items.

there are 26 photographic prints for sale in the shop, ready to ship and representing all seasons! these four new prints that were added to the shop today are printed on metallic photo paper, which gives the prints a unique pearlescent surface - just gorgeous. the archival paper offers highly saturated colors, ultra-bright backgrounds, and will last a lifetime with typical home storage. all 8x10-inch prints are $28. other sizes available - just ask.

with a nod towards december

in case you are looking forward to christmas before we get to halloween, you might like the new "holly berry" wreath. the pink peppercorn berries that i used in it were foraged in ojai, california earlier this month, and i rounded it out with pink coxcomb, wheat, preserved pine, and some delicate dried nigella flowers with some red highlights and a burlap bow.

autumn grapevine wreaths

two newbies for sale in the shop. either would be fab for halloween or thanksgiving - they both have rich colors and textures and will keep things bright and cheery as we head into the shorter (and darker) days of fall. wreaths make great housewarming and hostess gifts. i think you should send one to your mom/aunt/grandma/friend in advance of hosting for the holidays! of course, i'd be happy to include a note from you to your recipient, too.

the "wine country harvest" wreath isn't a recent addition, but it's also pretty darn festive for fall:

post-vacation creative surge

I'm back from another lovely and amazing California vacation. We spent the majority of our time in places we hadn't before been: Manhattan Beach, Santa Barbara, Buellton, Solvang, Lompoc, Los Alamos, and Ojai, save for a few trips to the beach to dip our toes in the Pacific in Gaviota and Carpinteria. I'll be posting some new items with freshly foraged and harvested goodies in the shop before long, but until then, enjoy these highlights from our trip:

vacation shipping delay

i recognize the irony in following the "orders usually ship in 24 hours" post with one telling you that things will be delayed this week. but, vacation and foraging time has come! any orders placed October 3-8 will ship on October 10. for your troubles, i'm offering 10% off orders placed during that time with the coupon code "3to8is1010".
