autumn grapevine wreaths

two newbies for sale in the shop. either would be fab for halloween or thanksgiving - they both have rich colors and textures and will keep things bright and cheery as we head into the shorter (and darker) days of fall. wreaths make great housewarming and hostess gifts. i think you should send one to your mom/aunt/grandma/friend in advance of hosting for the holidays! of course, i'd be happy to include a note from you to your recipient, too.

the "wine country harvest" wreath isn't a recent addition, but it's also pretty darn festive for fall:

I'm back from another lovely and amazing California vacation. We spent the majority of our time in places we hadn't before been: Manhattan Beach, Santa Barbara, Buellton, Solvang, Lompoc, Los Alamos, and Ojai, save for a few trips to the beach to dip our toes in the Pacific in Gaviota and Carpinteria. I'll be posting some new items with freshly foraged and harvested goodies in the shop before long, but until then, enjoy these highlights from our trip:

It's been an exciting few days in Etsy-land! My Fairy Moss Wreath was featured in the Etsy blog post "Get the Look Decor: Cozy, Clean and Simple" on September 16, 2012. And my Wyandot Grapevine Wreath was featured on the Etsy front page on September 17, 2012. Thanks for the love, fellow Etsyans!

{3} new wreaths are for sale and i love them all. but if i had to choose a favorite, i'd say it's the "evergreen wreath" * subject to change on a whim, especially with the creation of new items!
{4} i've recently done a few more custom branches; i will post pics when they are installed in the buyer's home.
{5} lots of upcoming travels - southwest, west, and regional. i should have heaps of newly foraged goodies to add to wreaths and branches!

studio re-do

at long last, i have photos from the studio renovation/upgrade! new windows, new maple floors, nice smooth walls, and a great new paint color (farrow & ball's "london clay"). it took a million times longer than we had planned (doesn't it always?!), but i have to admit, it was worth the wait.
